1Satellite background

How to trace your own track from a satellite image

Open the satellite view in Google Maps or Google Earth and take a screenshot showing the whole track
Tap “Upload satellite screenshot”
Tap two points on the image and enter the real distance between them to set the scale (use the map’s scale bar, or Google Maps’ “Measure distance” on a straight)
Tap “Draw track” and drag along the track to draw a full lap, then use “Edit shape” to fine-tune the left and right edges

#	What to do

Squeeze on the throttle after the apex. Tap a row to find it on the map. Corner numbers are fixed and stay the same for both karts. Only corners that need attention are listed. Each number's thin line points to the apex.

This is a theoretical reference. The line is solved for minimum curvature inside the track edges. The line stays about 1 m from the track edge (kart centre). Speeds come from a point-mass, friction-circle model. Kerbs, elevation, changing grip and the kart’s own handling aren’t modelled. Satellite imagery may be out of date, so trust the real layout. Your screenshot and track are stored only in your browser and your private backup.
